Welcome to PAW PRINTS! Here I'll introduce you to some of my rescues, our "kids", and a few of the angels that have crossed paths with us.
SOCKS
Socks was given to us to be placed. I thank God for owners like these who realize they aren't in a position to take care of them, and even though it's hard, they give them up to give them a better life. Socks was placed right away with a wonderful family and now has lots of room to run, friends to play with, and last I heard was on her way to being an unexpected mommy.
GOURDY
Gourdy came to us around Thanksgiving. Our neighbors have another cat we nicknamed "Pumpkin". Pumpkin and Gourdy became friends and before they were named (and nicknamed) continously played on our fall display, and hence Pumpkin & Gourdy were named. Gourdy is one of the most cuddly cats I have ever met. He is the definition of a lap kitty.
CHANSES
Chanses is one of our dearly beloved "kids". They are such little people it's amazing. They each have their own voices, likes & dislikes, and personalities. They never fail to amaze me. Chanses is majestic and never fails to make sure you don't forget it! Chanses was supposed to be Scott's, my (now) husband's cat, he had never had a cat and I went to get him one and decided on the way there to get two. Well, I did get two, and it turned out Chanses and I were meant to be (so were me & the husband :), and so he stayed with me. Turned out my husband ended up with his brother, and as the rest is history, we are now a happy family!

DUCKLING
Duckling was one of our original "pack" that was somewhat wild, stray, and absolutely loveable. It took awhile for her to trust us, but once she did, the reward was all ours. She has the sweetest disposition and loves to be held, and is another cuddle bug.
OREO
Oreo is the son of Fuzzy, whom you'll meet below, and the beautiful Tuxedo cat we call Ottie. He's kind of like a ghost cat, we only see Ottie, or glimpses of him ever now and again. As you can see Oreo is a huge teddy bear of a Tuxedo Cat, too. Oreo is a spoiled rotten child of ours, and is pretty close to human. He loves human food and likes to talk when he's not happy about something or wants you to get out of bed and refill his bowl!

GABBY
Gabby is the newest addition to our indoor crew! Gabby has a special story. A friend of mine called me one day and asked me to take a mommy & her kittens from an old shed that was being tore down. By the time I got there, the mommy was gone and only this tiny, one day old kitten remainded. I took her, knowing she wouldn't make it through the night. Up every two hours with her, feeding and cleaning her, warming her bedding, slowly the days turned to weeks. Six months later, here we are with the most precious, and most human-like cat you could ask for! True to her adopted parents, she also has a mean streak, but she can be a sugar-won't-melt-in-her-mouth cat, too!

DARLING
Darling is one of our outside kitties that just kind of arrived one day. You always know when there is a new cat in town. The dogs will bark if they enter the yard, the neighbor male kitties will come slinking around, and there will be tell-tale streaks when you exit the house as the new arrival makes their escape from the carport, unsure if it is safe for them to be there yet and unfamiliar with their surroundings. Usually after a day or two, it's pretty obvious if they have been dropped or if someone in the neighborhood has gotten a new pet. :-) Withing a week of being outside and around the house, she just kind of adopted us, and being the little darling she is, thus she was named.

DESTINY
Destiny is just a minature kitty cat. She is full grown, even had a litter of kittens, has now been spayed and is approaching two years old, but everything about her is in minature form! Destiny was another that we assume was dropped as one day, here was this little kitten just napping under the carport. We aren't really sure where she came from, but she decided to stay. I think with dropees, it's more whether they adopt us than if we adopt them! We decided it was her destiny to be with us.

PRIZM
Prizm is a con artist, for the longest time our 'onery' little ball of fur, loved to play, bite, scratch, and yet it was all in good fun. We excused the behaviour because we though it was just "boys being boys", and imagine our suprise when I went out to feed one day and "he" was in labor! Our adorable little boy kitten was a girl in disguise! All that fur, after checking as a kitten, we just never really gave it much thought again until she had kittens! She is more loving today, but is still an independent soul!

WIGGLES
Wiggles is either the son of Prizm or Angel, since they both had their kittens the same day within hours of each other, and they were inseperable, we let them raise their kittens together. They took turns nursing, babysittting, and playing with the whole group of kittens. We are still unsure to this day who really belongs to who, so Wiggles, Squirt & Lakota all have two mommies!

address a few things, most I answer honestly, but watch out for sarcasm:
